SHA850A Series — Handheld Spectrum / Vector Network Analyzer
Portable field RF analyzer for spectrum, cable-and-antenna and optional vector network analysis. The series covers 9 kHz to 3.6 GHz or 7.5 GHz with -165 dBm/Hz DANL, CAT mode as standard and optional VNA, modulation, GPS and source functions.
| Model | Spectrum Range | CAT / VNA Range | DANL | Phase Noise |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SHA851A | 9 kHz – 3.6 GHz | 100 kHz – 3.6 GHz | -165 dBm/Hz typ. | -104 dBc/Hz typ. |
| SHA852A | 9 kHz – 7.5 GHz | 100 kHz – 7.5 GHz | -165 dBm/Hz typ. | -104 dBc/Hz typ. |
Key Features
Spectrum Analyzer + Cable/Antenna Tester
Standard spectrum and cable/antenna modes support field RF installation, broadcast monitoring, interference location, channel power scanning, VSWR, return loss and distance-to-fault workflows.
Optional Vector Network Analysis
Optional VNA mode adds vector S11 and S21 measurements, Smith chart, insertion loss, port matching, cable loss and tower-amplifier debugging from 100 kHz up to the model frequency limit.
-165 dBm/Hz DANL and Standard Preamplifier
High sensitivity helps detect weak field signals, spurious emissions and low-level interference while keeping the instrument practical for outdoor RF troubleshooting.
8.4-inch Touch Display for Field Work
The handheld form factor, large touch screen, knob/key operation, shoulder bag and hand strap make the instrument usable at remote sites and tower locations.
GPS Location and Logging Options
GPS receiver and logging workflows help document measurement location during site surveys, interference hunting and field acceptance reports.
Modulation and Advanced Measurement Options
Analog/digital modulation analysis, waterfall chart, independent source, DC bias out and advanced measurement workflows can be configured for specific RF field tasks.
